|"A huge thank you to Simon and Franchi of Simply Whisky for supplying us with the much needed celtic contingent at our Burns Night Extravaganza. These two are the walking definition of Scottish hospitality and worked their sporrans off, with a well informed and lively whisky masterclass before compering our Burns Supper. Their Selkirk Grace was wonderful and the Ode to a Haggis passionately and hilariously delivered, while their Burns Factor poetry competition had the audience in rapturous applause. They didn't take a moment to themselves, constantly checking in and entertaining individual tables when not commanding the floor. They were a sheer delight to work with from start to finish; a rare combination of absolute professionalism, mixed with a generous slug of good humour and a sprinkling of roguery."

Chris Hunt, Director
"Simon and Franchi were fantastic, filling the room with all the drums and drama you could want from a tour through the world of whisky. They easily dispelled the notion of whisky as an old man's drink with a rock 'n roll sensibility that bordered on punk at times, and incited a religious fervour in the room with their enthusiasm and knowledge. These boys are dangerous (in a good way)."
"I attended the whisky tasting at Vinopolis and would just like to say what a great whisky tasting experience it was. Perfectly pitched in terms of audience, very funny and educational, plus some great whiskies. Hopefully, you’ll be at Vinopolis again later this year in which case I’ll be there"
|"Simon and Franchi know how to put on a great show. They know how to pitch and pace the proceedings perfectly. They know how to create a sense of gleeful drama. They know how to perform with passion. In short, they know their Burns—and they do him proud. Slainté!"

The experience enhanced our event tremendously and helped to make the evening more memorable than just the usual "drinks and canapes". The audience participation in mixing cocktails went down well with our guests and the feedback has been great. Thanks for helping to make our party a huge success and for convincing me that whisky is not just for old men!”

|We all had a most wonderful evening in your company and under your expert tutelage. We all learnt a lot but more importantly you gave us a most convivial and entertaining evening with an excellent range of malts and super toasts and recitations! It was just brilliant!|
|Our Burns Night was fantastic! Thank you once again!|

|Simon and Franchie .... My God! what a team,|
they're a double act, ... but not one as you've seen.
they're as bookends, ... with knowledge.. so vast,
one, charms the audience, ... the other ... just ask!!
They're funny, they're naughty, they're knowledgeable too,
Franchi charms all the girls, whilst Simon knows a thing or two!!
They will, enhance, your event, there's no doubt of that,
Ignore this profile, then you must be a P - - - -,
I am a customer, and one, overawed,
their knowledge, their professionalism, you can afford,
this pair of bookends, one so quick to the chase, the other so solid, so
knowledge based, with good presentation, professional whizz, they teach it as whisky ... they teach it as is.
my village, came, to my family event,
2 hospitalized, how silly they drank to extent.
No!, Simon and Franchi, their desire true,
is to bring the joy of whisky, to me and to you.
Many who came said. "I don’t like the stuff"
but Simon so carefully nurtured their wrath,
and soon they were saying "It can be so good,
so lovely and gentle and misunderstood.
So, these boys know whisky, and they love it too,
Let them come forward and share it with you.
